Redefining tradition
Spring 2017 | Design VI , The American University in Cairo
Two hundred bed hospital is to be designed in downtown cairo, one of the busiest areas in the city. The concept is to focus on the healing process of the patients by creating a more extroverted hospital; one that does not make the patients feel like they are bounded or contained. Creating contact to the surroundings and people in all possible ways. The approach was to find a form that would help utilize different ideas that would result in a hospital that is more interconnected and integrated in the site.
